Katsuya Terada

Illustrator and manga artist, Terada was born in 1963 in Okayama, Japan. His work ranges widely from manga and novel illustrations to charactor-design for games and anime. He grew up immersed in rich Japanese manga culture since his childhood and found Moebius (Jean Giraud) and Katsuhiro Otomo in his adolescence. His unique pictorial style that combines expressions of lines and shadings from both Western and Asian comics conventions has won him a large fan base in Japan and abroad alike.
